Huntingdon Life Sciences (HLS) are the largest Animal testing laboratory in Europe. Hidden in their secret labs are thousands of animals destined to die in agony in experiments not for the benefit of mankind but to test the likes of herbicides, pesticides and bleaches for no one else but fat cat industries.
Being concerned with animal rescue, we find this abhorrent as we frequently see the neglect and abuse of animals in our day to day running of the organisation, so when we found out about HLS and the awful experiments the animals are being subjected to, we felt we should support the Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty campaign and publicise the cause as much as possible in order to get this place shut down.
At HLS the animals are kept isolated in cramped steel cages, they are not receiving the care and attention they should receive by law and the abuse of animals by HLS staff has been exposed on national television
Aylesbury Cat Rescue will continue to support the Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty campaign until this evil laboratory is closed.
The following links present a lot of useful information on the problem, but please be warned some of the content and pictures you will probably find upsetting.
