Aylesbury Cat Rescue was formed when we broke away from Cat Action Trust due to political in-fighting which we felt was detrimental to the core reason for the organisation's existence, namely the homing and welfare of cats.
We currently have a core staff of seven people with a larger group of relatives and friends who help with donations and fundraising.
Our main accommodation is a four chalet cattery complete with runs and a safety corridor, (which is vital, we have had instances where a feral cat freaks and go's over your head to get out!), if this gets full we have a well appointed shed and a few back bedrooms which offer further temporary accommodation.
We are a non-profit making organisation dedicated to saving and re-homing domestic and feral cats, our aim is to find good homes for all the cats that pass through our doors.
However, for the organisation to survive we are heavily reliant on the hard work of the members and the generosity of the general public.
